Inclusive Counseling for Trauma, Eating Disorders & Anxiety
THERAPY WITH REBECCA SOTO

REBECCA SOTO LMHC, LPC
Therapist in private practice, founder
I'm a licensed therapist in New York and Connecticut providing therapy for adults experiencing problems like anxiety, eating disorders, and trauma, including complex PTSD. I hold degrees in Psychology, Studio Art, and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I began providing therapy in 2017 at the nation's first and longest-running LGBTQ+ therapy center. It was there that I formed a passion for providing inclusive care for trauma and disordered eating. In my career I have worked in women's counseling settings and as a director and clinical supervisor at eating disorder intensive outpatient/partial hospital programs.
Clients have described my approach as warm, welcoming, and approachable. I identify as a trauma-informed therapist and always aim to provide therapy that is sex-positive, LGBTQ+ allied, and racial justice-allied. In my private practice I utilize the Health At Every Size (HAES) approach to disordered eating. I'm proud to offer effective, affirming, and inclusive therapy.
