Most people will experience a significant traumatic event in their lifetime. While some get better on their own, others might become stuck in the recovery process. I provide effective, online therapy for PTSD including counseling for multiple incident trauma and childhood trauma therapy.

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD: CPT is an effective trauma therapy that promotes lasting effects by helping people release themselves from shame, guilt and blame about the trauma. It is endorsed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the International Society of Traumatic Stress Studies as a best practice for traum. CPT can be delivered effectively as an online therapy for PTSD.

  • Mindfulness Based Interventions: Find resilience and peace through mindful practice. Mindfulness includes a variety of techniques to help with managing trauma symptoms. My approach includes somatic trauma techniques including grounding skills to manage panic attacks and flashbacks, and calming strategies to reduce distress.

I specialize in providing personalized, effective therapy  to help those struggling with eating disorders/disordered eating and body image issues. Treatment is available for a variety of eating disorders and related concerns, including ARFID, Anorexia, Bulimia, and Binge Eating Disorder. Drawing on evidence-based techniques, I work with my clients to reach their recovery goals as they build towards body acceptance and freedom with food.

  • Evidence-Based Approach: I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a leading approach for eating disorders that can help improve self-esteem, heal body image, and promote healthier beliefs. Through CBT, people can learn strategies to challenge and change unhelpful thinking and behavior patterns, leading to a more positive self-image. Other approaches include nutrition exposure therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help gain insight and develop coping skills.

  • Health at Every Size (HAES) Informed: This approach to health focuses on intuitive eating and body acceptance. As a HAES informed therapist, I encourage my clients to focus on health behaviors for improved wellbeing and happiness. HAES promotes body acceptance, self-care, and respect for all bodies regardless of size or weight.
